Polymath Maria Doyle Kennedy has thrived in the Arts for over three decades. She began acting in 1990 with The Commitments and has since starred in 50+ films and TV series, including The General, Wolfwalkers, The Tudors, Downton Abbey, Orphan Black, Outlander, Kin, and her favourite—Father Ted.

Music, her first love, led her to launch her own label in 2000, releasing 11 solo albums. Her latest, Fire on the Roof of Eden, was praised by The Irish Times and Hot Press.

She has ventured into filmmaking with award-winning shorts A Different Kind of Day and Colour Code. Her first feature is in final development with Screen Ireland.

Maria collaborates with her husband, Kieran Kennedy, in life, music, and film, while raising their four sons.
