We are delighted to announce one of FFF's most sought-after events. Bow Street Academy and Maureen Hughes Casting will present this 2 day masterclass, introducing actors to the basic essentials of screen acting and working with the camera. Covering all areas, from auditions through to performance, this workshop will demystify all parts of the craft including the key differences between stage and screen, casting, self-tapes, shooting and performance analysis.
Led by the legendary Casting Director Maureen Hughes, Filmmaker and Director of Bow Street Shimmy Marcus, and Associate Artistic Director of Bow Street Sarah Hone, this workshop offers actors invaluable advice and practical tools to refine their craft and technique.

So far, FFF 2025 has received close to 500 short film submissions from over 40 countries—a stunning tribute to the creativity and diversity of filmmakers worldwide. Each submission brings its own unique voice, uncovering stories that span cultures, genres, and perspectives, showcasing the limitless scope of the human imagination.
