The closing date for 2016 submissions has come and gone and we are thrilled with the response, over 240 submissions from 26 countries.  Some visually beautiful, some thought provoking, some funny, some informative but all of them worth watching.  The standard this year is very high, making for some very tough hours of viewing for the judges.  Notifications will be sent out in April to all entrants informing them as to whether or not their film will proceed in the competition. A huge thanks goes out to all the filmmakers who have submitted films this year. Without you there would be no festival. We are humbled but excited by the interest shown in this year’s festival. Roll on May!
