Actors must present themselves in audition situations with a prepared text/monologue. More often than not, this has been rehearsed and learnt alone and usually only seen by casting directors without feedback, yet the actor may use this piece time and time again.
How the actor/piece is perceived and the way in which the actor wants to be perceived can sometimes be very different. This clinic will offer an opportunity to perform with immediate and honest appraisal. Is it suitable for the actor? Actors are asked to have their piece ready to be performed as if in an audition situation. Please bring a hard copy of the piece with you.
