Alper was born in Turkey and moved to Ireland at a young age. He is very privileged to have been able to spend all of his summers in West Cork during his childhood. Living in Dublin he joined Turkish Airlines as a marketing executive and had the opportunity to travel worldwide working alongside the sponsorship department. After nine years with Turkish Airlines, Alper and his partner Jo moved to Schull taking over the family business Hackett’s Bar. He is delighted to be a part of the film festival which every year brings together talented artists and the community.
