‘Sunlight’ was written by Ailbhe Keogan who previously worked with Clair on her short film
‘Take me Swimming’. Both short and feature star Barry Ward (Extra Ordinary & Dating
Amber). Also in leading roles are Liam Carney and Maureen Beattie.
Described as “an emotional, uplifting heart warmer”, the picture follows former addict Leon
who loves his best friend Iver more than anything in the world. Iver is the reason he’s alive
and clean, so when Iver gets a terminal diagnosis and wants to die, Leon’s not about to let
him go without a fight, even if it means being a royal pain in the arse. He forces Iver to agree
to one last day in Dublin. The outcome knocks both of them off course.
